Ikegami Electronics appoints new company President


As part of a global restructuring and re-focussing of the company, Ikegami Tsushinki Co., Ltd. a world-leading manufacturer of Broadcast Television, Security, Medical and Inspection video systems, has announced that Mr. Masanori Kondo has been appointed as the new President of Ikegami Electronics (Europe) GmbH.

Ikegami Europe’s previous President, Mr. Akira Harada, having held the post for 10 years, has been assigned to the position of President of Ikegami Electronics U.S.A., inc. based in Maywood, New Jersey.

Mr. Kondo previously worked in Ikegami Japan in Corporate Strategy & Marketing division and before that worked at Ikegami Europe’s Headquarters in Neuss, Germany for 7 years in the Security Systems division.

Mr. Kondo’s appointment marks the start of a new era in the history of Ikegami Europe, at a time when it has an exciting range of new and established products right across its business areas.

Ikegami will continue to build on its core areas of expertise with its key words being “Image, Processing and Transmission (IP&T)” and with increasing investment and effort being given to Research and Development, Ikegami is very well placed to capitalise on new market trends and continue to develop its award winning product range to fulfil the requirements of the most discerning of customers.
