Broadcast : Unitel, Russia choose Ikegami HL-60W cameras for their new OB-Vans
The Russian broadcast company Unitel ordered two new OB-Vans. The German system house "Broadcast Solutions GmbH" in Bingen is designing and building the OB-Vans.
Both will be equipped with each 5 camera systems HL-60W with triax transmission and accessories from Ikegami.
HL-60W is using advanced digital signal processing ICs, precision designed at 0,18μm rule, and the video signals are digitized with 12-bit A/D conversion and up to 38-bit internal digital processing. Full digital processing by integrated circuits ensures stable and repeatable high-quality pictures with very low power consumption of 9,8W. High performance is achieved through three 600.000-pixel AIT CCDs that provide 750 TV lines resolution, a sensitivity of f11 at 2000 Ix, a high S/N of -65dB and a very low smear level of –135dB. The cameras are switch able between 16:9 and 4:3 picture format.
