DVCAM Camcorders for NRK in Norway
After intensive evaluation of the new digital ENG formats, NRK, public TV station in Norway, ordered DVCAM camcorders from Ikegami.
NRK equipped some of their ENG teams with HL-DV7W, 2/3 inch 3-CCD camcorders (600.000 pixel) with 16:9 screen aspect ratio switch able to 4:3.
HL-DV7W is a marriage of Ikegami's digital video technology and DVCAM series digital VTR. DVCAM with 4:1:1 encoding is ideally suited for high quality video productions.
