CyBC TV, Cyprus, decided for Ikegami HL-45AW

For the new studio equipment CyBC TV in Cyprus ordered 4 Sets of digital Studio/EFP cameras HL-45AW. After intensive evaluation of the different Studio/EFP camera systems existing on the market, CyBC TV placed the order to Telmaco S.A., Ikegami distributor in Greece. The camera systems are equipped with triax transmission systems.

The HL-45AW is a cutting-edge, high-performance digital camera with new-generation ASICs that support reductions in camera size, weight and power consumption.

High performance is achieved through three 600.000 pixel AIT CCD's that provide an astounding 900 TV lines horizontal resolution, a modulation depth of 75%(5MHz), a dynamic range of 600%, a sensitivity of f10 at 2000 Ix and a S/N of 61dB(PAL). The AIT sensors provide exceptional smear characteristics. The camera system is switch able between 16:9 and 4:3 screen aspect ratio.

The HL-45AW connects with newly developed TA/BS/OCP-45 for wideband triax operation. The cameras sports a slew of capabilities for leading-edge performance. For example, a memory card can store operating status to facilitate camera set-up. The camera uses an advanced RGB DTL System to enhance resolution, plus much more, all made possible through advanced digital signal processing.
