Wireless Portable Camera System
WA-50 is dockable type wireless camera system with Ikegami HK-399PW or HL-65W camera for wireless transmission. Transmission can be made, in addition to the camera picture, for camera remote control signal and tally signal as well. It employs COFDM that is less multi-path interference for transmission, and space diversity system is employed for reception to achieve stable communication.

Wireless and compact
The wireless system is integrated in a compact housing. The wireless transmitter WA-50 can be docked with Ikegami HK-399PW or HL-65W camera. It will give the photographer total freedom by operating the camera and transmitting the video and audio signals in broadcast quality to the control room. The system transmits within a frequency of 2.2 ~ 2.7 GHz. Transmission systems is according to COFDM specification. Low-delay transmission mode (40ms). Transmission frequency and modulation modes are pre-settable.
Flexibility and full compatibility
The distance between transmitter and receiver (BSW-500 Base Station) depends on the type of antenna and can be up to 1000 meter. 2 way diversity or 6 way diversity system is available. In addition of the camera picture, camera control signal and tally signal will be transmitted. With the standard OCP, user has total operation control, same as for Triax cameras. The wireless system is a perfect completion for studio and field production.
