Ikegami on IBC 2025
IBC 2025 is over now and has closed its doors. For 4 days, from September 12th to 15th, 2025, RAI Amsterdam was the place to be for the broadcast industry and all major manufacturers showed their latest products and solutions. So did Ikegami – like in the previous years, the booth was traditionally located in Hall 12.A31, this year showing a completely new design in shape of a football stadium.
The cameras were shown on the field, whereas an OB Van accommodated the regie area with monitors, operation control panels and camera control units.
In addition to the broadcast van, a kiosk provided refreshments for visitors.
The Ikegami team, supported by colleagues from the headquarter in Japan, showcased the latest products at the Ikegami booth, including the new ultra-compact box camera, UHL-X40, the new wireless camera UHK-X700RF, and the brand-new 7-inch OLED color viewfinder, VFE-P711AD. Almost the entire broadcast product range of cameras was available, such as UHK-X700, UHK-X600 and HDK-X500. The new ST2110-Mini base station, IPX-100, presented as a prototype at the last IBC 2024 trade fair, was now shown as a finished product with the corresponding software options included (e.g. JPEG-XS compression, SDI gateway-, and HD-UHD upscaling function).
The entire monitor range was on display in the regie area of the OB Van, featuring HQLM-3125X, HQLM-3120W, HQLM-1720WR plus the new HD monitors HLM-2460WA, HLM-1860WR and HLM-960WR. In this area, the remote control panels OCP-500, OCP-300 and MCP-300 could be tested along with the virtual control panel VCP.
